Our 2nd annual Fall Feast and annual foundation meeting was a success. There were around 30 people who attended and enjoyed a night filled with great music and great food. The music was put on by local pianists and R-P choir students directed by Jessica Ingvalson. We enjoyed appetizers and drinks catered by Judy Christian and the main course and dessert catered by Rodney Thompson.
The weekend of October 7 and 8 was our 3rd annual Conquer the Bluff and Tri-City Challenge. We were blessed with beautiful weather and some great participants and volunteers.

We are pleased to introduce a new scholarship given in memory of Merle and Bette Evenson. This is the first year the Evenson Family presented two $500 scholarships to R-P graduates. Rushford-Peterson was lucky to have Merle and Bette as part of our community. This is what Merle and Bette's family had to say about them.
"Merle and Bette were very kind and compassionate people and enjoyed being a part of a wonderful community with a great school. Merle drove school bus for R-P Schools for 19 years. He thoroughly enjoyed driving bus and felt especially privileged to be able to drive for the girls' volleyball and basketball teams, also known as "Merle's Girls" and for the spring track teams. Merle always said, 'Everything happens for a reason.' "
